We offer an extensive range of tests and procedures. Use the dropdown to learn more about a particular exam or treatment.

Body Imaging

Body imaging involves all areas of the body except for the head, neck, and spine, and primarily use CT, MRI, conventional X-ray, arthrography, and image-guided biopsy techniques.

Breast Imaging

Breast imaging services utilize the most effective techniques for the early detection of breast cancer, and include mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, galactography, needle localization, aspiration, and ultrasound-guided or stereotactic breast biopsy.

Chest Imaging

Chest imaging services include plain chest radiography, MRI, and CT scanning, and utilize state-of-art scanners for both computed and digital radiography.

Our hospital-based radiologists offer comprehensive imaging services to a number of hospital partners including Hartford Hospital, Connecticut Children's Medical Center, Johnson Memorial Hospital, and Windham Hospital, and most recently began providing services at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT.

Vascular Radiology and Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Imaging

Several services are available for the assessment of cardiovascular conditions. Diagnosis of heart conditions including congenital malformations, coronary artery disease, and inflammatory conditions of the heart muscle are enabled by the use of MRI, high speed CT, and nuclear medicine imaging. Specialized exams can measure cardiac viability after a heart attack and assess heart disease risk. CT angiography and MRI angiography non-invasively study arteries throughout the body.

Musculoskeletal Imaging

The utilization of cutting-edge technology, including MRI, CT, radiography, fluoroscopy, bone biopsy, and ultrasound aids the diagnosis and management of patients with musculoskeletal disorders.

Neurointerventional Radiology

Through Hartford Hospital and at our offices, our neurointerventionists perform minimally invasive image-guided procedures that allow the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions affecting the head, neck, and spine.

Nuclear Medicine

By using small amounts of radioactive materials, images of the body and its organs are created. Procedures can facilitate early intervention and include renal scans, thyroid scans, lung scans, bone scans, hepatobiliary scans, gallium scans, heart scans, and brain scans.
